CORGI Fenestration is looking to sign up both glazing sector companies and operatives at the FIT Show (stand H55).

CORGI Fenestration recognises the achievement of best practice in the secton – from managed workforce competence to management control processes – through the use and display of the most recognised marque in the home improvements sector. CORGI.

The whole supply chain can achieve CORGI Fenestration Registration – from system houses, fabricators, component and IGU manufacturers through to installers and repair and maintenance services. Both commercial and domestic building sectors are covered.

CORGI Fenestration has established a set of strict criteria for companies through which the highest of standards and management best practice can be recognised and publicised, such as QMS (Quality Management Systems).

Products covered are: windows, roof windows, roof lights, doors, roof lanterns, conservatories, orangeries, glass extensions, sun rooms, tiled roof glass extensions, replacement conservatory roofs, porches, shop fronts, curtain walls, facias, bargeboards, cladding, soffits, windowsills, guttering and downpipes.

CORGI Fenestration accepts all glazing sector qualifications awarded by partner organisation GQA Qualifications including recognised in-house training programmes.

Staff with these qualifications can now be issued with their personal CORGI Fenestration branded card and will be listed on a Skills Register.

A CORGI Fenestration glazing CPS solution is in development and will be added in due course. Further announcements will be made about this shortly.

Chris Mayne, CORGI Fenestration, CEO described the vision: “CORGI Fenestration is all about recognising the highest of standards and allowing registered businesses to shout about their best practice across quality products, well qualified staff, the best in customer service and more. Using the CORGI Fenestration name will give them a competitive edge and will boost sales and profits.”

Mayne adds: “If this vison – quality through qualification – describes you and your business then join us. If your company is more about doing as little as you can to satisfy the minimum standards or badge collecting, then CORGI Fenestration is not for you.”

The CORGI Fenestration team will be on stand all through FIT to answer questions.
