Glasstec will see Ritec celebrating the continuing success of its ClearShield glass protection and renovation system, which has its 25th anniversary this year.

The company and its co-exhibitor Bohle ClearShield – Ritec’s Joint-Venture with Bohle AG and European business partner – are marking this milestone with a host of exciting developments.

This includes new fields of application for the specialist glass protection system such as solar panels, a new specialist formulation for use in high temperatures and new application methods and equipment, including a brand new and very convenient aerosol spray can. The stand will also be sporting Ritec’s re-designed corporate logo to launch the start of a bright new era for the company and its award-winning brands.

ClearShield is used around the world in markets ranging from architectural, residential and decorative glass to marine and shower glass. At this year’s Glasstec, Ritec is looking to build on its growing penetration of new areas, such as solar panels, car wash facilities and commercial greenhouses, with innovative products and services.

Among the products making their debut at the Show will be the ClearShield Sandblast Protect Aerosol Spray for easy spray-on application, and ClearShield Heat Performance grade for use on glass and ceramics subjected to high temperatures such as ovenware and oven doors. In addition, Ritec will be introducing commercial Starter Packs containing ClearShield products and accessories in a convenient kit. Also on display will be the latest developments in spraying equipment with the launch of the fully automatic V2000 Modular system.

Alongside new developments, visitors can also see an extensive selection of existing products, including the popular ClearShield Glass Protect Range, unique glass renovation solutions, specialist after-care solutions with private branding opportunities, and the convenient M9 spraying unit.

The association of Ritec and Bohle ClearShield ensures easy reach to the technology and optimum service for companies across most of Europe. Ritec’s international partners will also be present, representing the true international nature of Ritec’s network of distributors. The new developments of the aerosol and Start-Up Kits will provide further opportunities for all countries outside the network making ClearShield a truly global technology,

Located in its usual prime position in Hall 9, Ritec’s stand features eye-catching displays to demonstrate ClearShield’s amazing ability to renovate the surface of all kinds of glass and making it Low-M® (Low-Maintenance). Since the company’s first presence at Glasstec in 1986, the exhibits will highlight the enduring success of this revolutionary invention and its continuous development, says Stephen Byers, the company’s Managing Director. “ClearShield today is even easier to apply and offers greater versatility and performance across an increasingly wide range of applications. We’re looking forward to celebrating this at the show with potential customers and our many satisfied users and distributors around the world.”
