In an exclusive sales cooperation with R.W. Moll & Co. Chemische Fabrik GmbH in Mülheim/Ruhr (Mollco), Chemetall will, with immediate effect, distribute a range of innovative insulation coatings for electrical insulating panels.

The Sinullin® product range includes environmentally acceptable (chrome-free) organic, inorganic and organic/inorganic insulation systems. They are used for the manufacture of electric sheets of various qualities, e.g. for the construction of electric motors, transformers, generators and large machinery. Customers are typically steel mills that apply the coating to electric sheet coils by the roll-coat method.

The Mülheim-based family company will continue to look after further technical development, product maintenance and the production of the coating systems. Chemetall's Surface Treatment Business will take over the responsibility for exclusive global distribution and technical customer service.

The distribution contract with Mollco gives Chemetall the possibility of adding another interesting product to its broad range. Commenting on the results of tests at a key Chemetall customer, Kurt Wenzel, Head of the Advanced Technologies Division within the Chemetall Surface Treatment Business, said: "In our view, chrome-free Sinullin® insulating coatings are technically the most advanced products in today's market."

The cooperation with Chemetall will bring Mollco a technically experienced distribution partner with a global presence and very good contacts within the steel industry.
