Glassex 2007 organisers are delighted to welcome the Shanghai Northglass Technology and Industry Company to this year’s show at the NEC.

As first time visitors, Shanghai Northglass is exhibiting a range of products including the new S system for the glass processing industry. The company has invested US$26 million into becoming one of China’s foremost companies in this sector, engaged in the research, development and manufacture of new processes, technologies and equipment for glass processing.

A key sector of the business is supplying China’s expanding building industry and Shanghai Northglass has developed high quality tempered glass to meet the highest safety and aesthetic standards, a product that the company is keen to expand within the UK market. “We are delighted to be recognised as a vital forum for international companies who wish to reach the UK market,” comments Dave Broxton, Glassex Sales Director. “This year’s show has much more to offer the glass industry in general and glass tempering is a major element within the market, particularly in today’s current climate where glass is used not only for functional purposes and visual impact but also as a structural material in contemporary architecture.”

Shanghai Northglass is part of the Northglass Technology (Group) Company which trades globally from its base in China. The newly launched S series has been specifically developed to produce super flat glass without stains and to bend any type of glass.
