CGI International Bolsters International Presence with European Sales Director

CGI International has appointed Oliver Kunz as European Sales Director. This latest appointment reaffirms the company’s strategic commitment to the European market and bolsters the operational infrastructure in this region.

From his base in Koblenz, Germany, Oliver will head up the technical sales teams in France, Scandinavia and the Netherlands and will be responsible for driving forward the business plan in these territories.Qualified as a Civil Engineer, Oliver joins the business from Kalzip which is part of Tata Steel Europe, where he was International Project Manager.

Drawing on professional expertise and the extensive experience gained at Corus Building Systems, Oliver is tasked with driving forward Pyroguard project specifications, enhancing the visibility of Pyroguard amongst the architectural and project specification community and overseeing the implementation of the new Technical Licensing Programme ahead of the Construction Products Regulation coming into force next year.

Commenting on his new position, Oliver said: “The scope of the role is very varied so I am very much looking forward to meeting to the challenge. Pyroguard has a good team spirit and the range of fire glass solutions is well established as a market leading brand – my objective is to raise the profile of Pyroguard in the EU market even further and secure our position as the preferred European supplier for fire glass solutions.”
