The Bundesverband Glasindustrie e.V. (BV Glas) has expanded its leadership structure to reinforce its strategic and technical expertise in response to growing political and economic challenges facing the glass industry.

As part of the new structure, Ulrike Aldenhoff has been appointed as an authorized representative, taking on additional leadership responsibilities. In addition to continuing her work on environmental issues, she will now oversee resilience, security, and defense-related topics, further strengthening the association's expertise in areas of increasing importance to the glass sector.

Dorothée Richardt has been appointed Managing Director for Container Glass. In this role, she will lead the political representation of the container glass industry, strengthen the positioning of glass packaging in regulatory and market discussions, and continue to oversee communications for both BV Glas and the Glass Packaging Action Forum.

"I am very pleased with this new leadership constellation," said Christiane Nelles, Managing Director of BV Glas. "With Ulrike Aldenhoff and Dorothée Richardt taking on expanded responsibilities, two colleagues with whom I have worked closely and trust for many years are stepping into key roles. The challenges facing the glass industry are becoming increasingly complex, making it essential to broaden our leadership, strengthen our presence, and bring together our diverse expertise even more effectively."
