Blake Fennell Named President and CEO of Abrisa Technologies

Santa Paula, CA – We are pleased to announce that Mr. Blake Fennell has joined Abrisa Technologies as President and CEO effective August 27, 2012.Mr.

Fennell comes to Abrisa Technologies following a strong and very successful 17+ year career at Melles Griot, where he held multiple senior leadership roles, serving as Chief Operating Officer and then as Chief Executive Officer of this manufacturer and distributor of photonics-related components and sub-systems; including lasers, optical systems, and electro-optical components.

Following the acquisition of Melles Griot by Norwest Equity Partners in 2007, Blake served for an additional 4 years as President of the Laser Group within CVI Melles Griot, a California based manufacturer of lasers and laser-based light engines serving the biomedical-instrumentation, industrial, aerospace/defense, and micro-electronics industries. In all of these roles, Blake demonstrated a strong commitment to growth through innovative manufacturing, redesigned supply chain logistics, and sales/distribution programs which served his customers well, encouraging strong growth of the businesses he has run.
