Association StekloSouz of Russia at the International Exhibition BatimatRussia 2018

For 4 days of the exhibition, consumers from Russia, CIS countries and foreign countries were able to get acquainted with new achievements of the domestic glass industry. 

Members of the Association presented sheet glass, safe, double-glazed windows, fireproof glass, foam glass in various modifications and products from it. 

More than three hundred consumers visited the stand of the SSR. Specialists of the industry: architects, designers, engineers and consumers carefully studied product samples and promotional materials. 

"All the best domestic products for safe glazing will be used in the construction sector," said Viktor Anatolyevich Novoselov, president of the Russian Union of Designers. 

The consumer was able to see and assess the opportunities of the domestic glass industry, ask questions to the experts of the Association. None of the exciting problem of consumers has not remained without answers and attention. 

In addition to demonstrating glass industry samples, glass sheet and industrial processing department and foam glass department, a round table was held on the use of safe glazing and materials in buildings and structures. The topic was especially relevant in the light of the recent tragic events in Kemerovo. 

The leading experts of TK-041, TK-465, design organizations, the Institute of Building Physics, scientific centers, manufacturers of safety glass reported to the specialists who determine the policy in the construction complex about the urgent need to change the state policy towards guaranteed safety of life and health of citizens.

The conference was opened by the President of the StekloSouz Association of Russia Osipov Viktor Ivanovich. In his report on security in buildings and facilities for people's mass locomotion, he spoke to government departments that determine the development and use of new generation building materials. 

Until state regulation is restored, author supervision, mandatory certification, responsibility of designers, customers, controlling structures, the repetition of tragedies is inevitable. 

Vlasova Tatyana Vladimirovna, Director of the Center for Certification of Window and Doors (OTD), and many other leaders expressed their concern about the lack of requirements for materials. 

Experts of the largest manufacturers of safe, fire-resistant, non-flammable glass products for buildings and structures, incl. LLC "FOTOTECH", LLC "INPRUS", LLC "Avangard", LLC "Factory of creative glass" explained to specialists about the achievements and advantages of domestic products, which by their quality characteristics exceed many import analogues. 

President of the StekloSouz of Russia Osipov V.I. in an interview he said: "Undoubtedly, the participation of members of the Association in a specialized, one of the largest international events in Europe, will bring economic benefits to the domestic manufacturer of sheet glass, safe products and will allow us to look confidently into the future."

He expressed confidence that the SSR will formulate, by May 10, 2018, proposals for an integrated approach to ensuring the safety of life and health of citizens. The documents will be sent to the Government and relevant departments of the Russian Federation. 

Heads of glass factories, research institutes, design and construction organizations adopted a joint decision.
