Anchor Glass to Announce Second Quarter 2004 Results on August 5, 2004

Anchor Glass Container Corporation announced today that it will release its results for the second quarter of 2004 before market open on Thursday, August 5, 2004, and will hold a conference call that morning at 8:30 a.m.

Eastern Time.

Anchor Glass Container Corporation is the third largest manufacturer of glass containers in the United States.
