The first GPD China was organized in 1994. After a few year’s break, the true GPD China tradition began in 2004 in Beijing. The event gathered then an audience of 180 participants.
Since 2004 , it has been held every year alternately between the cities of Shanghai and Beijing with around 300 attendees each year. Since 2014, the event is being organized every two years.
The event is held in conjunction with China Glass, one of the most respected trade fairs in Asia.The organizers of the event are Glaston, China Buildings Material Academy and China Building Material Test and Certification Center.
The 2018 edition of the event will be held on the 17th of April in Shanghai China. More information will be released and published on this site very soon.
