Award Categories

During the awards ceremony on December 2, 2021, FTI will announce an award recipient in seven distinct categories:

Category Spotlight: Collaborative Achievement

To help spark submission ideas, we're highlighting information about one category each week. This time, we're delving into the Collaborative Achievement Award.

The Collaborative Achievement Award is intended to recognize the teams responsible for project, research, product development, or other advances in facade technology, who have made extraordinary contributions to the art, science and technology of building facade systems through demonstrable, deep collaborative processes.

To be clear, this award need not be related to a specific project but can be for an innovation in a product or process that resulted from the efforts of a team, especially a team represented by stakeholders from diverse fields of experience. This award should exemplify one of the main tenants of the FTI in “breaking down the silos” between those professions involved in the design, procurement and execution of high-performance and sustainable facade systems. Novel submissions are encouraged; any extraordinary team-based contribution is welcome.

We invite you to explore the eligibility requirements and assessment criteria, and then submit here when you're ready.

Need a reminder to submit?

We get it — you're busy! Sometimes you need a reminder (or two). By filling out the Intent to Submit form, you're letting us know that you're planning to nominate a project or individual. We'll follow up as the deadline approaches to make sure your submission gets in.
