Successful return to Brazil

Glassman South America 2010 proved even more successful than the exhibition debut in Brazil in 2006 and confirmed its position as the leading exhibition for industrial scale primary glass making equipment and services.

Exhibition Good quality visitors met with over 80 leading manufacturers and suppliers from the primary glass making industry. Sebastian Nunez from Emhart was among many extremely satisfied exhibitors who praised the event: “Customer attendance has been excellent.Our customers came and we saw visitors from all South American countries as well as Mexicans. Chile was unexpected but a pleasant surprise. The visitors have been better than at the 2006 show and there are more stands and suppliers. It is more about quality here than quantity". Alan Hendry, Fives Stein, supported this; “We have had good meetings and enquiries. The right, high quality people have come. We have achieved what we came for and are very happy”.

Conference

“The conference included a higher ratio of technical papers and was very positive with people networking and gaining knowledge”, ABIVIDRO (Association Brazilian Technique of the Automatic Glass Industries), who organised the conference running alongside the exhibition. It was well attended with interesting subjects presented and discussed. View papers
