The new Schüco ASE 60/80 sliding system platform, Schüco Seamless Combination, which combines façades and sliding systems in the panorama design, and the Schüco FireStop fire and smoke platform are being awarded the coveted international “Red Dot Award 2018: Product Design”.

Assessment criteria include the level of innovation, the functionality and the formal quality of the products.

Red Dot Award 2018

Schüco ASE 60/80

The new Schüco ASE 60/80 sliding system platform allows slimline sliding doors with particularly narrow profile face widths to be produced. The outer frame can be integrated almost entirely into the building structure. Another highlight in terms of design and convenience is the clean, high-quality appearance provided by the level threshold, a slim interlock section and the concealed fittings groove.

Schüco Seamless Combination

With Schüco Seamless Combination, the Schüco ASS 77 PD sliding system (panorama design) transitions seamlessly into the FWS 35 PD façade system so as to preserve the face widths of the mullion profiles of just 35 millimetres.

The slimline and puristic design is also highlighted by the flush integration of the outer frame into the floor, wall and ceiling. The system can also be implemented as a highly thermally insulated and burglar-resistant version.

Schüco FireStop

The Schüco FireStop aluminium fire and smoke protection range is an aesthetic solution for fire doors with innovative technology. Narrow profile face widths of just 127 mm, the possibility to increase the size of the system to clear opening dimensions of up to 1500 mm wide and 3100 mm high, and concealed fittings allow for high-quality design solutions.

The system also impresses with its innovative technology: with an open rebate profile geometry, changes in use or other adjustments to the Schüco ADS 90 FR 30 fire protection system and the Schüco FireStop ADS 76.NI SP smoke protection system can be carried out with ease.
