One of the leading glass fibre manufacturers in Europe, the JSC „Valmieras stikla škiedra” informs, that also for 2014 it is planned to invest round EUR 8 Mio in the development of the company.

The aims of the investments are the development of the manufacturing and modernisation.  

For keeping the company growing in a long term, the started investment program will proceed also on 2014 with investments in the factory, modernisation of its’ technical and technological solutions and purchase of new equipment with the aim to develop new and innovative products, and to gain the production capacity as well. It’s important to mention that for the realising the investment program the company received a loan for the total sum of EUR 2.5 Mio from the JSC “SEB banka”. For the credit aims JSC “Valmieras stikla šķiedra” pledged the property of Cempu Street 13, Valmiera (the commercial pledge is registered in a favour of JSC “SEB banka” on 3rd February). The loan redemption date is on December 2018.

The management of JSC “Valmieras stikla šķiedra” informs, that the unaudited financial results will reflect gratifying results. Despite the growing competition and the relevant proportion of power engineering costs, JSC “Valmieras stikla šķiedra” has reached the record growth of turnover and profit. The unaudited financial statement of the company as at 31st December 2013 will be published in previously given terms in the website of NASDAQ OMX under www.nasdaqomxbaltic.com/.
