Nippon Electric Glass Co Ltd up 7.83 percent or 65 yen at 895 after the maker of cathode-ray tube glass late on Friday raised its parent-only earnings forecast for the current business year.

Nippon Electric said it now sees a net profit of 6.5 billion yen for the year to March, greater than its previous estimate for 3.00 billion.Sales are seen at 207 billion yen, up 4 billion yen from the company's earlier estimate.
