In some business situations capital expenditure is restricted, to the point where the purchase of highly sophisticated machines like the NIS or AIS is not commercially feasible.

Sometimes, even the productivity from these machines is too high for certain market situations.

Traditional alternatives to overcome these problems are:

 * Repair and update the existing machine

 * Look for a cheap low quality machine

 * Consider buying a reconditioned machine

All of these options have certain disadvantages in the medium term, whether it is support for spare parts, reduced life of the machine, or even additional investment needed during the furnace life.

Emhart Glass has responded to this by developing a new standard IS machine package, known as the SIS Machine. It is expected that the product will offer a highly competitive alternative to the existing compromise solutions that some customers have to face.

The product (which is available as a package from the feeder to the ware transfer) uses the latest standard of section frames and mechanisms while taking advantage of the flexibility of the industry standard 26 line valve block to minimize the complexity (and cost) of external piping and valves. It even includes advanced forming controls, servo gob distributor, and the latest dual axis servo pusher,

This machine is available as Single or Double gob, covering all our center distances, and also configured for 6, 8, 10, and tandem configurations. For more information on the SIS Machine package, please contact your local Emhart Glass representative.
