HORN Glass Industries AG: 465 tpd End Fired Furnace for OOO Omxky Stekolny Zavod

HORN recently signed the contract with OOO Omsky Stekolny Zavod about the second End Fired Furnace for production of green and amber container glass.

The furnace shall produce 465 tonnes of glass per day on 4 forehearths. One of them is designed as a Tandem-Line.

The furnace is operated by Natural Gas and will be assisted by an additional boosting in the melting and in the refiner area. HORN provides further two batch chargers HVR 500. The glass level will be controlled by the laser based level measurement OPTIBEAM.
