Glass Doctor® of Southeast Wisconsin Technician Competes in International Windshield Replacement Competition at Auto Glass Week09.20.2011– Glass Doctor of Southeast Wisconsin glass technician Pat Kencharek competed in the Pilkington Clear Advantage Technician Olympics at Auto Glass Week™ in Memphis, Tenn.

Friday. Kencharek, who has been in the glass industry for 19 years, competed in the windshield replacement category of the Olympics.

Kencharek and Glass Doctor of Southeast Wisconsin owner David Kozlowski drove over 600 miles to the competition in Memphis.

Kencharek replaced a windshield in front of a panel of judges. The judges allocate points based on skill level and time it takes to complete the work. Unfortunately, he did not place in the top three.

“Even though Pat didn’t win, we enjoyed every bit of it,” Kozlowski said. “It was definitely a learning experience for us.”
