Further expertise on the road with Promac

Date: 5 November 2014

The Promac Group, renowned for world class PVC, flat glass and aluminium machinery, is delighted to welcome further expertise to the Service and Spares Department; Field Service and Spares Advisors, Richard Reeves and Wayne Willday.

The roles were developed with customer service top of mind, as Rob Hopper, Group Service and Spares Manager at Promac explains: “Expanding the team with additional ‘on the road’ resource enables us to further strengthen our customer service and support.  Richard and Wayne will be able to provide a more personal Promac experience, as they will spend time out in the field, face to face with customers, understanding how their individual businesses work, to allow Promac to be amenable as possible to their needs.“As well as selling spares and consumables directly from their vehicles, the team attend scheduled as well as ‘drop in’ visits when in your area in order to take customers what they need.  Promac strives to always go the extra mile in terms of service delivery for customers and the fact we are further bolstering our Service and Spares Department shows our commitment to that.”“Although we have good relationships with our extensive customer base, not all of them are aware of the wide range of products and services Promac provides,” explains Richard.  “Getting out to each of them and spending time on a one to one basis allows us to explain the entire dynamic of the business and the fact we are not just a machinery supplier. The ongoing Service Packages and Leasing options we provide are of particular interest.”

“People are much more open and honest when you are speaking to them in person,” continues Wayne. “As well as helping with the company exposure, listening to our customers’ wants and needs means we can reflect that in our offering.  Being in front of them, offering that personal service, has certainly given us an edge.”

Rob concludes: “The Promac Group provides the largest area of on the ground support in the UK.  Couple that with the additional supply service partners also on hand to support with installations and provide ongoing support and you are left with an offering that supersedes any other on the market.”
