Sparklike introduced a groundbreaking laser technology last year to measure argon fill of triple glazed units - even those with specific coatings such as Low-E.  To discuss the new technology and product, we are participating actively to events and congresses within glass industry - worldwide.

March 1-2 we attended Baku Glass and the GPD Conference held simultanously.

As usual, the GPD Conference had a long line up of interesting speakers - including our CEO Miikkael Niemi, who discussed the non-invasive technologies in IGU measurement. The Baku Glass had brought several leading glass companies to Azerbaijan. We were pleased to be in a company of Glaston and Bystronic.

The Caucasus area is an interesting market to Sparklike as the area is developing fast and there are plenty of on-going construction, despite tough economic climate that hinders some investmetns. The Azerbaijan economy, especially, appears to be open to new ideas and knowhow to further develop the industry, as today the manufacturing in Azerbaijan is somewhat limited.

"Baku Glass event itself brought some of the best equipment and service providers to Azerbaijan, and thus the discussions were plentiful and of high quality. We found few interesting new companies that could benefit from our argon testing solutions. We are also interested in finding a distributor for the area, and got few interesting names to continue the discussions", comments Miikkael Niemi on the experiences visiting Baku Glass.

Sparklike continues attending new and exciting events within glass industry. Next we are attending Windoor Expo in China.
