August's Architecture Billings Index shows an accelerated increase in demand as economic concerns widen

Today as the Federal Reserve met and initiated a 75-basis-point hike in a move to tackle inflation, The American Institute of Architects (AIA) published their monthly economic indicator called the Architecture Billings Index.

While demand picked up slightly from a month prior, economic indicators suggest that "storm clouds continue to gather" and a nationwide deceleration could occur over the next several months.
