Asahi India Glass Q4 PAT Down 87 Pc At Rs 9 Cr

Asahi India Glass on Monday posted 86.64 per cent decline in profit after tax at Rs 8.94 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, as compared to Rs 66.95 crore for the same quarter previous year.





The total revenue (net of excise) of the company grew 46.88 per cent to Rs 234.92 crore for the quarter from Rs 159.93 crore for the corresponding quarter a year ago, Asahi India informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.



The board of directors of the company decided to declare an interim dividend of Re 0.65 per equity share as the final dividend for the financial year 2006-07.

The company also declared a dividend of 0.01 per cent on six lakh non-cumulative preference shares of Rs 100 each for the fiscal.
