Congressman Bill Johnson and George Wilson of Quanex met recently at the company’s Cambridge, Ohio, facility.

Bill Johnson toured and met with management and employees at the expanded Quanex facility in Cambridge on January 28, 2013.

Quanex Building Products recently hosted U.S. Rep. Bill Johnson, representing Ohio’s Sixth District, at its Cambridge, Ohio, facility, in addition to U.S. Rep. Doc Hastings, representing Washington’s Fourth District, at its Yakima, Wash., facility. During these facility visits, the congressmen spent time learning about Quanex’s role in the window and door industry and its advocacy efforts in Washington, D.C.

“Job creation through advances in manufacturing is critically important to growing America's economy. Companies like Quanex, in Cambridge, that manufacture energy-efficient products, are so important to bringing manufacturing jobs back to Eastern and Southeastern Ohio,” said Congressman Johnson.

"I was pleased to see first-hand the innovative, energy-efficient building materials Quanex produces,” said Congressman Hastings. “This is exciting news for Central Washington."
