New Glass Product Could Help Deter Topeka Crime

A new product designed to resist bombs, bullets and burglars was on display today at the Law Enforcement Center.

It's a protective coating for glass being marketed to law enforcement officials, banks and schools as a safe guard against criminal activity.The product, called "Clear Armour", is designed as a security laminate for glass.It could be the next big tool for deterring crime.

"CEO of Clear Armor, David Trudeau said, "Whenever we demonstrate, people are impressed with what it can do."

What "clear armour" can do, it's makers say, is protect families, law enforcement and any buildings from intended harm by transforming glass into a virtual armour.
