The factory was closed since April 2011.
Vijay Joshi, chairman of IAG, who arrived here on Thursday, said, "We will start functioning again within the coming two months. Both the units of the factory are under process to restart. Power supply and coal linkage would be ready in the next two months."
Joshi also said it was only IAG which had successfully manufactured 1mm thinnest glass in the country which is in demand not only in domestic but also at the international market. "All 1,052 workers will be provided job in the plant as the company has decided to recruit all workers previously engaged with the company," said Joshi.
In 2004, the IAG, which was owned by Ahmedabad-based Khemka group, cooled down its production units, which resumed operations under the new owners in 2009.
A retired IAG official, Joshi is a close aide of former chief minister Madhu Koda. Soon after Joshi formally announced to restart IAG, hundreds of jobless IAG employees, their family members and local residents gathered near the closed factory and expressed happiness over its proposed re-launch.

Indo-Asahi Glass (IAG), one of the oldest glass manufacturing factories in the country, located in BhadaniNagar under Patratu block of Ramgarh district, is all set to restart production in a few months.
