Xinyi Solar Holdings Ltd, the solar glass unit of Hong Kong-listed Xinyi Glass Holdings Ltd. (0868.HK), started pre-marketing Tuesday for its around US$150 million Hong Kong initial public offering, according to a term sheet seen by Dow Jones Newswires Tuesday.

During pre-marketing, a company and its bankers gauge investor interest in an IPO and come up with a price range for the deal. Xinyi Solar, which makes ultra-clear photovoltaic raw glass, plans to sell 520 million new shares in the offering.
