Vision Systems To Exhibit SPD-Smart Dimmable Aircraft Cabin Windows At MEBA 2012

December 10, 2012 – Research Frontiers (Nasdaq: REFR) licensee Vision Systems will exhibit (Booth #200) its SPD-Smart electronically dimmable windows at the 2012 Middle East Business Aviation (MEBA) exhibition being held from December 11-13, 2012 at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.Vision Systems' SPD-Smart Nuance and Noctis windows offer instant and precise light-control at all levels which provides original equipment manufacturers and operators with a complete solar protection solution that enhances passenger comfort and supports fuel efficiency.

These electronically dimmable windows and cabin dividers, available for aircraft and helicopters, are impact-resistant, completely silent, and available in flat and curved surfaces.



They can be adjusted by passengers with an easy-to-use controller at their seat or though a personal electronic device such as an iPad or tablet. They also can be controlled cabin-wide by the crew using the aircraft’s cabin management system. Vision Systems’ Noctis SPD-Smart product line offers enhanced blackout solar protection and complete privacy. For additional design flexibility, customers also can choose to combine Nuance and Noctis windows with Vision Systems’ Comfort Shade, a motorized roller shade that is available in many shapes, fabrics and colors.



MEBA 2012 is a trade-only event that is held biennially and is considered the Middle East’s premier exhibition for business aviation. It is expected that this year’s event will attract up to 375 exhibitors and 7,000 attendees. More information is available from the event website.
