On 25th October 2012 company ZIPPE Industrieanlagen GmbH from Wertheim, Germany, invited interested customers to view their two batch preheaters, installed at Ardagh Group in Dongen, Netherlands.

At Ardagh Glass in Dongen, Netherlands The first preheater with a capacity of 340 to/d and a cullet portion of about. 80 - 90 % was already successfully commissioned in 2010 by company ZIPPE.Thanks to the reliable and energy efficient functionality Ardagh Glass ordered a second preheater for their furnace 16 in 2011. This one has a capacity of 400 to/d and works with a cullet portion of 50 - 60 %.

Prof. Dr. Hansjürgen Barklage-Hilgefort (Director Investment Coordination, Ardagh Glass) and Mr Sjoerd Stelwagen (Manager Furnaces, Ardagh Glass) explained the mode of operation and expressed themselves very positive regarding their collaboration with ZIPPE and its batch preheating technology, developed with long lasting experience and in correspondence with the latest expertise.

The two preheaters work absolutely reliable and low-maintenance. Our excursion, organized during the glasstec exhibition, was a great success and ZIPPE was very satisfied with the received feedback.
