Bülach, 23 November 2009. The Board of Directors of Vetropack Holding AG has decided to boost the “Marketing, Sales, Production Planning” function at Group level.

In view of the continuing internationalisation of key accounts, a maximum focus on market and customer requirements is of central importance to the Vetropack Group’s economic success. This also includes the optimum coordination and utilisation of all production capacity. Boosting the “Marketing, Sales, Production Planning” function at Group level is therefore the right move at the right time.

Because of this, Marcello Montisci, member of the Group Management Board, will concentrate solely on running the “Marketing, Sales, Production Planning” function from 1 January 2010. At the same time, he will relinquish management of the Czech Republic/Slovakia division, which he previously carried out simultaneously and which encompasses the two Vetropack companies in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, to Gregor Gábel, formerly Director of Vetropack Nemšová s.a. With Gregor Gábel, he will be succeeded by a member of the local management team who is extremely familiar with ongoing projects and responsibilities. Gregor Gábel will also be appointed to the Extended Group Management Board; Marcello Montisci will remain a member of the Group Management Board.
