UNIGLAS® | CREATIVE: design you can touch

Date: 2 April 2014

For the first time, the trainees of the UNIGLAS companies have competed against each other as part of a creative competition.

The results are impressive.  Glass in its most diverse possibilities of use and a wide variety of design implementations show our up-and-coming talent's competent dealings with the material of glass.

Achieving more together – that is not only the motto of UNIGLAS; the trainees of the UNIGLAS companies know about it too. Many creative heads, paired with specialist skill and technical education, create perfect results. And that is exactly what was required for the first UNIGLAS® | Creative competition.

The objective of the creative competition was to design a new table display for UNIGLAS. It was to be made of glass and was to correspond to the corporate identity of the UNIGLAS cooperation in logo presentation and colouring. A display that is suitable for use at trade fairs, in showrooms and on meeting tables. A communal project of the commercial and technical trainees; a result of creativity and learned dealings with the industry's own material.

"We were positively surprised by the high participation in this competition and the great results. Selecting a winner from the large number of exhibits submitted was no easy task," says Yvonne Kuhlmann, Head of Marketing at UNIGLAS.

In the end, the design of the trainees from Verden-based FRERICHS Glas GmbH was the victor. The win was awarded with a EUR 500 monetary prize and attendance at the Fensterbau/frontale trade fair in Nuremberg. All submitted exhibits are also shown and presented again on our website.
