The Tecnoglass Group is currently working on the One Thousand Museum tower, a high-rise residential condominium under construction in Miami. The 62-story building is expected to rise over 700 feet when completed in 2018, making it one of the tallest buildings in Miami.
One Thousand Museum has been a challenging but fruitful experience for our corporate group, particularly given the project´s complexity. It´s exposed concrete structure, which happens to be the main feature of the façade´s design, changes completely from one floor to the next.
This required for the architectural systems to follow a particular progression along the tower and for each product set to be completely different, calling for our advanced engineering skills to plan out the entire production scheme.
During the building´s construction, its renowned designer, 2004 Pritzker Price-winning architect Zaha Hadid passed away, endowing a whole new dimension to the project and making us a living part of Hadid´s legacy.
