Smartglass International is proud to announce the recent delivery of almost 200m2 of Switchable Privacy Smartglass to the newly refurbished Robert N. Noyce Building at the ntel HQ campus in Santa Clara, California.

Our customer for the project was Aurora Glass a leading interiors glazing contractor in North America, based in Vancouver British Colombia. Aurora’s Jeff Lorentz selected Smartglass International as the supplier for this prestigious project because of our superior product clarity, excellent turn-around times and very competitive pricing,

The project at Intel consisted of approximately 80 panels totaling nearly 200m2 of glass and involved some complex bespoke work on many of the pieces to achieve the design goals for the customer.

The team at Smartglass collaborated closely with the Aurora site crew to achieve complex cut out and notching detail as well as mitred edges on many panels to achieve the desired look and high-end finish required in the space.

The completion of the Intel project in California strengthens the position of Smartglass in the North American market and further enhances our reputation there as a high quality manufacturer who can compete for and win major blue-chip business in the US.

Although we have been active in Canada for several years, our activity south of the border had been more limited up until recently. However if it fair to say that Smartglass now views the US market as being key to future growth of the business and our success in partnering with Aurora for this major project demonstrates our ability to supply top quality product competitively in to the US.
