BAU 2017 in Munich is built around the message "The future of construction". The Schüco exhibition appearance at Stand 301 in Hall B1 will show how Schüco has tackled this topic.

The company will present target group-specific solutions to architects, fabricators and investors which will far surpass energy-efficient and design-oriented system technology.

This will also include digital technology for all planning, fabrication and construction processes.

The requirements of modern building envelopes are continually growing. Schüco is rising to these challenges together with its network of architects, fabricators and investors, whereby those involved are in consultation with each other at all stages of the building process.

The target group-specific knowledge obtained in this way has an influence on the development of products and services. It also has an influence on the upcoming exhibition appearance at BAU. With its products, services and mediatecture, Schüco has aligned the structure of its exhibition stand based on the various needs of each of its dialogue groups.

While new and proven window, door, façade, sliding, solar shading and security systems will be presented in individual product labs, topic studios featuring products from across the range will focus on innovative solutions for the building envelope. Schüco will link products, services and information here – individually tailored to architects, fabricators and investors.

Planning reliability and design freedom for architects

At the Schüco exhibition stand, architects who appreciate a high level of design freedom as well as planning reliability will find streamlined, combinable system technology made from aluminium and PVC-U, as well as the new flexible textile façade solution, FACID, which allows façades to be clad in a varied and sustainable way.

With FACID, the external appearance of a building can be adapted to changing requirements quickly and efficiently at any time, without limiting its functions.

The exhibition experience for architects is rounded off with consultation services and software solutions which will result in extensive digitalisation and hence reliable planning for the entire design and planning process.

Efficient fabrication and installation for fabricators

Simple, secure, quick and hence economical fabrication and installation are exactly what fabricators want. At BAU, Schüco will show how fabrication processes, from planning and fabrication in the workshop through to installation on site, can be optimised.

One example of this is the new fire and smoke protection range for the basic depths of 90 mm and 76 mm. Thanks to the unique profile geometry, fittings components are installed without machining and virtually without tools.

In addition, a change in use over the course of the product life can be implemented with minimal effort in terms of the fittings.

Security and design for investors

Sustainable, secure and economical construction with an individual design – this is what counts for clients and investors.

In Munich, Schüco will show this target group durable and sustainable products of a high quality, for successful projects with a maximum return on investment.

Examples of this are the Schüco Façade FWS 50.SI and the Window AWS 75.SI+, which have been awarded the Silver certificate in accordance with the current C2C standard of the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute in the USA.
