Date: 8 April 2013

SAFTI FIRST, leading USA-manufacturer of advanced fire rated glass and framing systems, is pleased to announce SuperSecure II-XLS 45-120 min. to its growing product line.

SuperSecure II-XLS achieved a Class A-1 rating per CDC (California Department of Corrections) 860-09a testing requirements and meets ASTM E-119/UL 263/NFPA 251 with hose stream up to 2 hours.      According to Jeff Griffiths, Director of Business Development, "Correction facilities throughout the country have had to settle for an antiquated fire rated security glazing relying on wired glass up until now.SAFTI FIRST has once again provided a clear solution that takes advantage of our SuperLite II-XL fire resistive performance that provides a barrier to radiant heat. SAFTI FIRST's innovative SuperSecure II-XLS provides   the full range of 45 to 120 minutes  of temperature-rise protection   along with forced-entry security in dramatically larger sizes  than wired glass alternatives."

SuperSecure II-XLS does not incorporate wired glass, giving it a clear, wire-free appearance. Using SuperSecure II-XLS as the basis of design provides maximum security protection; protection against fire, smoke and dangerous radiant heat; impressively high STC ratings; and a 5 year manufacturer's warranty.  As an added benefit, SuperSecure II-XLS is proudly made in the USA.
