At Win-Door Quanex Building Products will be promoting its MikronWood® Thermal Advantage Window System, featuring Quanex’s revolutionary MikronWood composite frame material for increased thermal performance.

The solid-core material is a blend of thermoplastic alloy resins that includes both polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and acrylic-based polymers.This unique resin combination doesn't absorb moisture, relieving homeowners from damage caused by rot, mold and insects.



The new MikronWood Thermal Advantage Window System is available with Quanex’s standard SuperCap colors in white, almond and adobe finishes. Additionally, the system is available in architectural bronze, adobe, hunter green, brick red and silver SuperCap exterior colors. MikronWood Thermal Advantage Window System is available in tilt single hung, horizontal slider, picture window, casement and awning styles.



Quanex will also showcase its high-performance IG spacer systems, engineered components and other window and door systems at the show.
