Project Announcement – Trend Marine

Smartglass International are delighted to announce that we recently supplied specialised triple-laminate Privacy Smartglass panels to Trend Marine.   Trend Marine is a principal supplier and partner of marine glazing to many of the most prestigious boat builders around the globe.

In the UK they are the clear market leader supplying some 70% of the marine windows and glazing used by Britain’s best known luxury boat builders.

Privacy Smartglass is ideal for marine interiors where space utilisation is a core feature of design. Privacy Smartglass, when turned ‘ON’, is translucent providing a sense of space and openness. When it is turned ‘OFF’, Privacy Smartglass is opaque thus allowing complete privacy whilst still letting natural light permeate throughout the space. Privacy Smartglass by Smartglass International also has an ingress protection rating of X7 which means it has been tested fully submerged underwater with no defects – always important in marine environments!

We are delighted to work with Trend Marine on this project and look forward to working with them again in the near future.

Trend Marine join our list of marine customers including Viking River Cruises, Trinity Yachts, and Sunseekers.
