Numerically controlled automatic machine to grind and polish the edge on shaped glasses with internal and external curves, straight line edges and mitred corners as well as inside shapes.

It's possible to work any geometrical profile by means of linear and circular interpolation on X,Y,Z axis.In addition to grinding and polishing of edges, this machine can also perform holes, pin and screw inserts and internal or external milling and routing. The desired geometric profile is actualized by using the automatic design station CAD/CAM.More than one glass sheet can be positioned on the working table, which can be either a fixed table or a double sliding table.Upon request the machine is available with an automatic loading and unloading unit.10 or 20 position tool station with automatic selection for tool with drawal and deposit. This machines can be produced with a fixed table or with a special working table divided in two parts sliding on hardened guides and high precision ball sliding blocks. This assures a perfect flatness of the tables and a complete absence of vibrations during the glass working operations. An automatic lubrication system guarantees both an absolute precision and a long life along the years of the guides and the sliding blocks.
