Lindner Facades are happy to announce the successful completion of the Kings Cross R7 project in London.

The 11 storey commercial office project featured the Lindner Facades CW85 system with external aluminium fins all in two distinct and bespoke pink PPC colours.

Aluminium balustrade to the terraces and sky garden areas ensures the building stands out within the local area. Lindner Facades’ scope covered the entire external façade including the primary steel packages to the roof plant and the steel curtain walling to the ground floor areas.

Following an extensive PCSA period, which allowed beneficial VE savings for the client team; Lindner Facades were fully appointed by Kier Construction in the winter of 2015. The PCSA period facilitated an efficient design process completed ahead of programme whilst ensuring the requirements of the client were met.

The project was delivered under budget and on programme.

A positive relationship with the main contractor allowed for a smooth running installation period with the final result being an impressive façade within the extensive re-development of the Kings Cross area.

Both the end client Argent and the project architect DMA have expressed their happiness with the façade quality and the whole Lindner experience.
