By Patrick Flannery - The Insulating Glass Manufacturers Alliance has joined Top Glass as an association partner.

Top Glass, taking place May 28 at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ont., is Canada's new event for the commercial glazing trade.  The IGMA will be listed as an association partner on all Top Glass materials and will staff a booth at the show where attendees can learn more about it.

"Having an organization as respected as the IGMA lend its support to our event is key to what we are trying to do with Top Glass," says Danielle Labrie, show manager. "We are looking to create a great opportunity for education and technical discussion, and the IGMA is at the forefront of technology and standards development in the glass industry."

"IGMA is very pleased to be participating in the first trade show dedicated to the commercial glass industry," comments Margaret Webb, IGMA executive director. "We view this as a unique opportunity to network with architects, code officials, contract glaziers and building owners."

The IGMA is the international standards development  organization for the insulating glass industry. Its  focus is on developing new technologies in the  manufacturing of insulating glass units supported by new  research, best practices and the development of codes  and standards. IGMA's industry publications, education  programs, product certification programs and leading  edge research provide valuable support to the industry.
