UL, a global safety science leader, is the latest company to come on board for this year’s Glazing Summit, which takes place on Tuesday, October 18 at Edgbaston Stadium, Birmingham.

With regulations growing tighter every year, it is hugely important that fabricators, manufacturers, contractors and others within the industry have a trusted partner in testing, inspection and certification.

UL, which has customers based in more than 100 countries, helps companies achieve their safety, security and sustainability goals, meet quality and performance expectations, manage risk and evaluate their products, including doorsets, with testing, inspection and fire door certifications

The leading industry conference is set to attract more than 400 leaders from across the whole industry and will feature a brand-new line-up of expert speakers, debates and discussions on the biggest issues affecting the industry, and the Glazing Summit Dinner in the evening.

Chris Miles, business director of UL’s Built Environment group, said: “Fire doors will be a big talking point.
