Seth Schuepbach has been promoted to director of operations for GlasWeld in Bend, Ore. Schuepbach was previously a business development manager for the company with an emphasis in the automotive, fleet, and transportation markets.

As director of operations, Schuepbach will focus on developing strong relationships with key suppliers as well as streamlining and improving production processes, quality control and inventory and warehouse operations.

Schuepbach has worked previously in diagnostics and manufacturing engineering for Planar Systems, owned his own flooring and commercial restoration business, and has spent time in a manufacturing environment as a production manager on the glaze line with Jeld-Wen. He is a Navy veteran with service in the Western Pacific as a fire controlman specializing in shipboard warfare electronics. He graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in business administration and is currently working on his masters in business administration through the same institution.
