Glassolutions Wins Top Health and Safety Award

GLASSOLUTIONS has scooped a top health and safety award in the British Glass Awards 2012.The Isle of Wight branch, based in Newport, won the category for “Best safety performance for under 50 employees”.

Len Payne, Business Manager at GLASSOLUTIONS in the Isle of Wight, accepted the award which was presented by Frances Outtram, Board Member, Health and Safety Executive.

The British Glass Awards are designed to promote health and safety best practice with the objective of reducing the number of accidents within the workplace.

Simon Carin, managing director of Glassolutions, which has 22 branches throughout the UK, said: “This is a fantastic accolade for the business which has worked hard to create a robust and sustainable health and safety culture, which protects the wellbeing of staff and customers.”
