Gerresheimer is a long-established and reliable partner to the pharma and healthcare industry with a comprehensive portfolio of high quality pharmaceutical primary packaging products made of tubular glass.

The product range in transparent and brown boro- silicate glass, including medication bottles and ampoules plus cartridges and syringe systems, will be on display at Interphex China in Suzhou between November 10 and 12. Trade visitors to the Suzhou International Expo Center from all over Asia can find comprehensive information about the Gerresheimer Group’s products and gain an insight into its portfolio of competences at stand 4A208.

“The Asian market has developed into one of our key growth markets. After stepping up our production operations in the region, we are now operating quickly, efficiently and with the necessary flexibility to respond to customer requirements at any time,” said Dr. Markus Piduhn, Execu- tive Vice-President Tubular Glass Converting Europe & Asia. One of the products on exhibit at the fair is the RTF® brand of ready-to-fill syringes which are manufactured to customer specifications. The syringes can be multi-color printed, have tamper evident closures and can be furnished with a laser-applied identity code. A bake-on siliconization process called Baked-On RTF®, which has been patented by Gerresheimer, optimizes the RTF® syringes for sensitive biotech medicines.

The group’s advanced production technologies enable the production of tube glass products in the most filigree of designs. Gerresheimer’s subsidiary, Gerresheimer Shuangfeng, handles the group’s tubular glass pharmaceutical primary packaging product manufacturing operations in China and it will be the group’s representative at the Suzhou fair. Gerresheimer currently has seven production facilities in China.
