Exhibitor registration for glasstec/solarpeq 2012 open now

Companies from the fields of glass systems engineering, the glass industry and the glazier trade may now register for glasstec 2012.

The world’s largest and most important glass trade fair will be held at the Düsseldorf exhibition grounds from 23 to 26 October 2012. The trademark of glasstec as the leading international trade fair is its coverage of the value-added chain around the material glass and its unique product and service range. The level of internationalism of the 44,000 visitors to glasstec 2010, 57 percent of which came from abroad, is second to none in the world. 80 percent said that they were involved in managerial decisions in their company.

At the same time, solarpeq - International Trade Fair for Solar Production Equipment – will be held for the second time since 2010 in Hall 11. This exhibition is thus directly integrated into glasstec. It covers the area of production technology for crystalline and thin-film photovoltaics. This segment includes mainly producers of machines and systems and their corresponding components, but also materials for the production of solar final products. glasstec visitors will continue to find solar applications, such as applied photovoltaics in architecture. According to the results of the official visitor survey 2010, the combination of the two trade fairs was welcomed expressly. Visitor registration for solarpeq is also open now. One admission ticket allows entry to both fairs.

For 2012, glasstec and solarpeq are again offering a comprehensive supporting programme. glasstec is once again offering the special exhibition glass technology live, the Trade Centre in Hall 9, the Architects’ Congress, the art exhibition glass art as well as the Autoglass Arena. After their respective successful debuts in 2010, there will be new editions of the Façade Centre and the professional conference for glass construction, engineered transparency. The program is rounded off by a third edition of the solarpeq conference, Solar meets Glass, which focuses on interface topics between the glass and solar industries.

Exhibitors may now register for glasstec and solarpeq at www.glasstec.de/2330 or www.solarpeq.de/2330. To save time, previous exhibitors from 2010 are provided with pre-completed, editable forms.
