ESG Polyvision™ Rebrands as ESG Switchable™

Date: 28 March 2013

Leading glass processor, Essex Safety Glass (ESG) has quite literally ‘switched’ the branding of its ESG Polyvision™ glass range.

Now aptly known as ESG Switchable™, the brand instantly reflects the versatility of the high quality LCD privacy glass.        ESG Switchable™, which made its debut at EcoBuild this year, has been positively received by those looking to create instant privacy and make clever use of space. Available in a variety of bespoke sizes and shapes, the highly popular privacy glass, known in full as ESG Switchable™ LCD Privacy Glass featuring ESG Polyvision™, has seen its sales increase by 250% over the past year.

Commenting on the new branding, Sara Hobbin, Marketing Manager at Essex Safety Glass, said:

“Whilst the Polyvision brand, which has been in existence for the past 5 years,  is strong in its own right, feedback from our brand consultation revealed that those specifying glass products appreciate strong instant brand recognition.

“ESG Switchable™ not only provides this, it is easy to recall and has the longevity to grow with our expanding portfolio of digitally responsive glass products.”

When discretion is required, ESG Switchable™ provides control over privacy or the public gaze. With its impressive technical qualities and design-led features such as iPad remote controls or integration with business management systems, ESG Switchable™ is quickly becoming the switchable glass of choice for architects, partitioners and interior specialists.

Scott Sinden, Managing Director of ESG, adds:

“Our decision to rebrand comes at a time when the high demand for intelligent glass solutions has not waived. It is still very much seen as one of the glazing industry’s most versatile solutions and we want to ensure our products are perceived as being at the forefront of this trend.”

Available in sizing up to 1,800mm x 3,500mm and customised to specifiers requirements, it is the ideal option for a broad range of design purposes.

ESG will also be exhibiting ESG Switchable™ at Grand Designs Live at Excel, London from 4th – 12th May 2013 where visitors will have the opportunity to experience the range at first hand. For further information visit www.esguk.co.uk
