Ecobuild 2013 Preview - Ritec

Date: 7 February 2013

The Ritec Good Surfaces Campaign will be the dominant theme at this year’s Ecobuild, highlighting that renovation, protection and maintenance can be applied to all problem surfaces.

Ritec will demonstrate how, together, the ClearShield® and Ritecoat™ Systems provide a total solution for both new and existing surfaces that save time, money and waste from having to replace them."Arial">

With today’s emphasis on refurbishment rather than replacement, the focus will also be on the green credentials of bringing surfaces back to new with ClearShield® for glass, including solar panels, and Ritecoat™ for metal, plastic and painted surfaces. Once protected, surfaces become highly resistant to corrosion and staining, making them low maintenance and reducing the cleaning frequency and associated costs by 50% on average.

Diversification into new market sectors by offering surface protection is another key message. Ritec will be promoting the huge benefits for commercial window manufacturers, on-site contractors, PV installers and those providing refurbishment services in extending their product range and service while adding value and profit to their sales proposition – with virtually no capital investment.

Once again, the famous mud dome, which instantly demonstrates the ‘non-stick’ properties of the award winning ClearShield System™ for glass surface protection, will be on display. Complementing Ritec’s proven range for the whole building envelope will be Ritecoat R625™, developed for the renovation, protection and maintenance of other surfaces such as metals, paintwork and plastics. Its durable, high performance technology offers the same ‘non-stick’, low maintenance properties as ClearShield, making hard surfaces resistant to staining and discolouration and easier to clean and keep clean, without the need for harsh or abrasive cleaning methods.

MD of Ritec International Stephen Byers says Ecobuild is central to the company’s strategy for promoting Ritec’s cutting edge developments in durable surface protection. He comments: “Ecobuild is the perfect platform to raise awareness about the positive impact of durable surface protection on people and the environment and to demonstrate the environmental benefits that the ClearShield® and Ritecoat™ Systems can bring to all market sectors. Only Ritec offers proven solutions that are time-tested for over 30 years to help maximise energy savings in buildings - and cut the cost, time and environmental impact of cleaning, particularly of glass and glazing.”
