Unique Window Systems will contribute towards the development of the Brookfield Campus, securing a second major contract as part of the University of Leicester’s campus transformation plans.

The University of Leicester’s estate master plan has been put in place in order to deliver a 21st century urban campus as the centrepiece of Leicester’s Educational Quarter.

Unique will be supplying aluminium windows for the Brookfield campus, where the School of Business will be streamlined from being in several buildings across the campus to, instead, all under one roof.

In doing so, Unique will be helping to transform one of Leicester’s most significant Victorian buildings. The new home for the School of Business at Brookfield, just a 15 minute walk from the main university campus, will improve facilities and provide a dedicated teaching resource to become a centre of excellence. The university says up to 750 students will use the new business school with 210 members of staff.

Unique Window Systems, earlier this year, secured a million pound contract at the University of Leicester’s Percy Gee building to expand the facility, with Unique set to supply and install a large curtain walling package for the project.
