Asahi India Glass Ltd has posted 39.8 per cent growth in net profit to Rs 24.44 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004 as compared to Rs 17.48 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Total revenue inclined 10 per cent to Rs 148.44 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004 as against Rs 134.45 crore in the same period last year.

The shares of Asahi India were last traded on the BSE at Rs 160, up 4.17 per cent.
