Applications for the 12th Otto Schott Research Award

June 30th, 2011, is the final deadline for submitting applications for the 12th Otto Schott Award 2012.

The Otto Schott Research Award that was first presented in 1991 is bestowed every two years to recognize outstanding scientific achievements in international glass research. The award valued at EUR 25 000 is mainly intended for younger researchers of up to 45 years of age. Candidates who are able to provide references on their excellent scientific performances in fundamental research and/or technology development in the areas of special materials, components and systems in the fields of optics, electronics, solar power, health and living are welcome to apply.
