Over the past few years Smart-Builder have been steadily increasing their presence in Europe, Russia and the Americas, however, at this year’s major Sales Planning Meeting, Director David Brennan made it clear that in 2015 “We want to focus our efforts closer to home.

Australia is already a great market for us with many satisfied customers but we know we’ve only scratched the surface and there are many more who could benefit.” (even if they didn’t let us win the cricket). With a world-class range of software products for the glazing industry it only seems fair that they let more Aussie’s have a slice of the pie … To make things easier for their Aussie counterparts, Smart-Builder have added a Melbourne contact number (03 8609 9968). Gary Wang, Senior Tech Support employee at Smart-Builder said “It means our customers can give us a call whenever they need a hand and they don’t have to stop to worry about making a toll call”. The move makes sense for Smart-Builder, if you read through the testimonials page on their website it’s clear that customer service is something Smart-Builder do very well.

In August Smart-Builder will be exhibiting at the Glass Australia 15 Conference in Melbourne. With an impressive 6x2m custom printed stand design, they are set to impress the Australian glass industry. This is the third year in a row that Smart-Builder will be exhibiting at the show and they are looking forward to showing off some of the new features. 2015 has seen the release of a new Contract Management module for commercial contract work, several improvements to glass report options, including coating dimensions and labelling, and perhaps one of the most important changes is the new accounting interface. Smart-Toolbox now integrates with a range of international accounting packages such as Xero, MYOB and Sage which has eliminated double entry and revolutionised the way many of our customers deal with their end of month numbers. “Our focus has always been to reduce work load and improve efficiency for our customers, the fact that our software produces professional looking quotes is almost just an added bonus” says Director, David Brennan.

When David was asked why Australia, he replied “Aussies are great to deal with, pragmatic and they are open to new ideas in technology. We have been growing quickly on a global scale and Australia is no exception. We want to really get our name out there now and keep up the momentum. Our goal is to make sure that every glazing business knows who we are and what we can do for them.”
